Thank You to our Mitzvah Day Participants

On May 5, over 75 people participated in Temple Shalom’s annual Mitzvah Day activities. We want to thank all those who participated. 

The activities consisted of:

• Partnered with Undies for Everyone to provide over 2500 pairs of children’s underwear to 180 Turning Lives Around, led by Women of Temple Shalom
• Wrote thank-you cards and letters to be sent to IDF soldiers
• Performed spring clean-up on Temple grounds, led by Brotherhood
• Brotherhood collected and delivered over 35 pounds of Matzah, and dozens of men’s suits and dress shirts for men in need, to Lunch Break in Red Bank
• Collected and donated cooking oil to Keyport Ministerium
• Helped with our community garden
• Helped Collier Youth Services prepare materials for campers
