Temple Shalom Community Seder

Spring brings the promise of so many new beginnings and rebirth after a long cold winter. This year, more than ever, we are excited to join together as a congregation, in person! Passover, sometimes known as the Festival of Freedom, starts on Friday evening, April 15th. On Saturday evening, April 16th at 5:30pm we are thrilled to be able to have a Community Seder where we can be together as a temple family and retell the story of the Exodus from Egypt, of the new beginning of freedom.

The last year has been filled with many challenges in the world; prices have risen significantly. The cost of our community seder at $50 per adult does not cover the catering costs of the meal. For that reason, we are looking for sponsors. If you are able, please consider the following sponsorship opportunities:

PART THE RED SEA — PLATINUM SPONSOR – $1800
(Includes 8 seats, co-leading part of the seder (optional), recognition in the program)

RECEIVE THE TEN COMMANDMENTS — DIAMOND SPONSOR – $1000
(Includes 4 seats, co-leading part of the seder (optional), recognition in the program)

Elijah’s/Miriam’s Cup – $360
(Includes 2 seats; provide the wine for our participants)

Seder Plate – $180
Manna  – $100
Charoset – $54
Matzah – $36
Salt Water – $18

Attendance at the Seder is by reservation only, we MUST have your reservation by Monday, April 4th, no exceptions! Register now through Shulcloud. Any questions, please email Ellen LaFargue or call (973)879-8935. Of course we appreciate your sponsorship support; most of all we want to see you there!

Chag Sameach!
