Book Drive

The Social Action Committee is participating in a book drive for The Bridge of Books Foundation. The organization’s mission is to provide on ongoing source of new and gently used books to underserved kids throughout New Jersey to support literacy efforts and encourage a love of reading.

We are looking to collect:

  • New and gently used books for kids from birth through age 18
  • If a book makes sounds, it must work
  • If a book has parts, it must be complete

We are not looking to collect:

  • Adult books, textbooks, encyclopedias, coloring books, used work books or magazines

One exception – Bridge of Books will accept parenting books!

Please drop off books in the Donation Bin by the Coat Closet. We are also collecting cash donations towards books. You can leave change in the Tzedakah Box by the Sanctuary Doors or make a direct donation via the Shulcloud link below:
