Social Action Committee’s Mitzvah Projects

The Social Action Committee’s mitzvah project for November/December was dedicated to collecting books and donations on behalf of the Bridge of Books Foundation. Over 300 children’s books were collected, along with financial donations. Special thanks to Ruth Queen for organizing the collection, Gary Enoch for transporting the books, and to Mitch Friedman for building and donating two “book arks” to hold books.

The mitzvah project for January/February is the Kosher Meals on Wheels program, which provides Kosher meals to clients throughout Monmouth County who are isolated, frail, and vulnerable. If you wish to make a donation to this cause, you can do so here.
