Camp Shalom
Classes for Kindergarten through 2nd Grade*
Twice a month on Sundays from 9:30 - 11:30 am
Camp Shalom is an age appropriate beginning to enjoying Jewish learning and being part of a Jewish community.
Students will participate in hands-on, interactive and age appropriate activities. Each class session has a main theme and uses those themes as a foundation for exploring:
• Hebrew Vocabulary
• Torah Lessons & Stories
• Social Justice Learning & Action
• Holidays & Jewish Values Through Song
• Connecting to My Jewish Community & Temple Shalom
• Connecting to Israel
• Blessings for Everyday Actions and Rituals That We Do
* For the 2024/2025 school year, 2nd grade will be taught with 3rd grade on Camp Shalom days only.

Do I need to be a Temple Shalom member for my child to attend classes?
Membership is NOT required until 3rd grade. BUT we offer a reduced membership for the first year regardless of when you decide to join.
What is the Cost for Camp Shalom?
Kindergarten through 2nd Grade: $450
Price is per school year; discount available for two or more students enrolled.
