TEMPLE SHALOM MITZVAH DAY 2022
Sunday, May 15, 9:30 – 11:30 a.m.
Come and help us do a MITZVAH – there are 4 projects to choose from:
(1) HYGIENE KITS FOR ELIJAH’S PROMISE
Location: Temple Shalom courtyard
Task: Prepare travel-size kits of toiletries and water
Also accepted: Cash donations to purchase items in bulk
How to donate: Go to ShulCloud account on Temple website or mail in a check. Write “Mitzvah Day” in memo.
(2) GROUNDS CLEAN-UP
Location: Temple Shalom grounds
Task: Help Brotherhood beautify the grounds of our Temple: weed beds, trim bushes, etc.
How to Dress: Wear work clothes and shoes. Bring tools and work gloves.
(3) GARDEN START-UP
Location: Temple Shalom garden – Gan Tikvah
Task: Get the garden ready for growing
How to dress: Wear work clothes and shoes. Bring garden gloves, hat, water, and sunscreen.
(4) BEACH CLEAN-UP
Location: Old Bridge Beach TBA, 9-11 a.m.
Will be provided: Bags, vests, gloves, and grabbers
Requirements: Must be 11 years of age or older
Procedure: Limited to 15 people. Must pre-register with Rachel MacAulay.
