The Early Learning Center – Summer Programs

Summer Programs are full of outdoor fun!

Summer Programs are full of outdoor fun!

Looking for a summer program for your toddler or preschooler?  The Early Learning Center of Temple Shalom has options for all schedules.  Do you need to fill gaps between school and other activities?  Do you need to fill weeks with activities in the middle of summer?  Is your child too young for drop off programs?  We have an option for you:

Fill the Gaps Program

The ELC “Fill the Gaps” Summer Program will provide a place for children ages 2 – 5 years old to go from June 20 – July 1 and August 22 – September 2.  This split session summer experience will literally “Fill the Gaps” in family schedules.  Families can choose to enroll in either of the 2 week sessions or both sessions.  The classes will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm.  As an added benefit, having classes in the two weeks prior to Labor Day helps to ease young learners into the preschool environment immediately before school year programs begin.

 Summer Camp:

Children ages 2 to 5 years old will enjoy outdoor play, friendship, craft, songs and stories in an environment especially designed for preschoolers.  Summer Camp will take place on July 5 to August 11.  Choose all 6 weeks or 3 week blocks.  The classes will be on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9:00 am -1:00 pm.  Our Summer Camp is affordable and full of the activities that promote preschool socialization and learning.

 Campers and Caregivers:

Children 14-30 months and their adults are welcome to our warm and nurturing introduction to early childhood fun and learning.  Our playground is an outdoor classroom and we spend as much time as possible enjoying the weather while playing, painting, running in the sprinklers and more.  Adult/child programs don’t have to stop just because it is summer.

Every week in all of our Summer Programs features lots of outdoor activities, fun in the sprinklers, play, songs and crafts. Our playground is an outdoor classroom with gross motor activities, art, science, dramatic play and more. In inclement weather, our social hall is filled with gross motor activities so campers can enjoy spacious indoor play.

Contact us for information about Summer Programs and 2016-2017 enrollment.  Our tuition prices are frozen.  Pay 2015 rates for an affordable summer designed especially with your child in mind.  For more information email Cindy Terebush, Director of Schools or call 732-566-2961.
